12th August and 9th September	Colinton Nursing Home - Monthly Services, 2pm on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Please come along and support this short 15 minute service
Sunday 5th October	Edinburgh Signing Choir To mark Disability Awareness Week we will be joined at Polwarth by the Edinburgh Signing Choir. In 2006 the Women’s Guild of the Church of Scotland invited Albany Deaf Choir to take part in their Annual Conference, which would be held in the Concert Hall, Glasgow. After considering both the size of the Concert Hall and the anticipated audience, it was agreed by all that a larger choir would be more productive. Albany Deaf Choir then approached members of St. Margaret’s R.C and Edinburgh Deaf Bible Study choirs and they too were very much in favour and happy to amalgamate, therefore the Edinburgh Signing Choir was born. Members are from Edinburgh, Fife, Livingston and Galashiels. They even have someone from New Zealand! We very much look forward to welcoming the choir, and their leader, Mary McDevitt, to Polwarth.
